Job Description:
- Should be familiar with Freight Forwarding pricing / negotiation and specially for Import.
- Prepare “Rate List” to key destinations for broadcasting to Sales.
- Provide customer support and follow up for smooth shipping operations.
- Procure pricing from local shipping agents.
- Responsible for getting competitive pricing. Coordinating with counterparts / agents and after confirmation of the business informing the same.
- Providing quotes to customers with an aim to achieve 95% wins.
- Follow up on inquiries, by assuring all requests are met properly to maintain the target of 1 day for FOB inquiries and 1.5 days for ExWork inquiries.
- Maintain valid pricing for both ocean and air for all common trade lanes.
- To review the KPI report constantly, work towards achieving the KPI’s and maintaining the KPI’s above 95% .
- Will be co-coordinating with Dubai and Doha team for all rate request.
